Scenker UNONA Labstar

The UNONA Labstar 50 and Labstar 100 analyzers have different capacity options for 50 and 100 vials. Independent vial positions allow for vial loading at any time without affecting the results.

The rotary, continuous culture system maximizes the detection time for positive vials and detects a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi.

Monitoring

  • Vials are barcoded
  • Independent sensor for each rotor wheel
  • Analyzer reading cycle – every 10 minutes
  • Positive sample detection time from 6 to 24 hours
  • Real-time visual display of the growth curve

Vials

  • Polymer vials ensure safe use, significantly reducing the risk of accidental spills, user cuts, and microbial contamination
  • The use of adsorption resin neutralizes antibiotics in the sample and ensures effective culture
  • Twice as light as glass vials, significantly simplifying transportation and disposal

Usability

  • The testing procedure consists of two steps: scanning the barcode on the vial and loading it into the analyzer, significantly reducing time and making staff work more efficient
  • Localised user menu ensures ease of use of the pre-installed program
  • Modern software allows for continuous monitoring of each individual vial
  • Optimal throughput for medium and small laboratories
  • Accelerates the laboratory cycle for patient examinations
